Recent Sermons
| Christian Prayer: Part Three | 11/30/2008 | In this third and concluding message on prayer, Dr. Wilder focuses on Paul's teaching in Ephesians to help us understand "what to pray." Paul tells us to pray "in the Spirit" and to remain "alert." When we are living in the Spirit our prayers will be grounded in God's Word as we seek what the Lord wants for us. When we are spiritually alert (instead of spiritually complacent) we will pray in response to the needs and situations around us. |
| Thanksgiving Sermon | 11/26/2008 | |
| Christian Prayer: Part Two | 11/23/2008 | In today's message, Dr. Wilder continues his series of sermons on Christian prayer. In this sermon, he focuses on "how to pray" based on Jesus' teaching. Jesus teaches us how we should pray (with sincerity and trust) and how we should not pray (with hypocrisy and arrogance). |
